SFA-Flyer-2015

Dearest friends and family,

I am SO excited to be singing with the Sing for America Chorus this year.  Sing for America (SFA) is a not-for-profit organization focused on supporting the performing arts. Much like how other organizations use walk-a-thons or bake sales to raise funds, SFA helps people raise funds through singing.

I am currently rehearsing to perform in a big concert to be held on April 19, 2015Last year’s SFA concert featured incredible performances by Broadway star Marcus Lovett and Metropolitan Opera soprano Marie Plette.

Unlike other organizations, SFA allows their members to direct where their contributions go.  I’ll be raising money to help support Verismo Opera, the community opera company with whom I sang my very first opera, La Traviata. I subsequently fell in love with the art form and decided to devote my life to it. Verismo has given me, and many others, multiple opportunities to grow as a performer. With them, I have sung such roles as Musetta (La Boheme) and Frasquita (Carmen) and will be singing Lucy (The Telephone) and Oscar (Un Ballo in Maschera). I wish to give back in this way so that they can continue to provide opera at a very affordable price for the community and give us singers experience that we may not otherwise get.

Please help me support Verismo Opera and the Sing for America Foundation by making a tax-deductible donation above.  The process is fast, easy, and secure.

You can also support me by buying tickets to the show and using my unique coupon code, [SFA003] at checkout. Half of the ticket price will go directly to my charity!

Even if you can’t make a donation or buy tickets, please help me reach my goal by sharing this page on Facebook and Twitter. Or, even better, send an e-mail to friends you think might be interested in contributing and include a link to this page.

Thanks so much for your generosity!
